Zambia: Zanaco partner with La Liga

A partnership between Zambian giants Zanaco and La Liga was announced this week

Zambian giants Zanaco have announced a partnership which will see the club’s coaches benefitting from the expertise and knowledge from one of the biggest league’s in the world.

From September, La Liga will provide physical coaching sessions at Zanaco. This will run twice a year.

La Liga will also run digital monitoring sessions for Zanaco to ensure there is a football and business exchange between the parties.

This is a partnership that Zanaco are hoping will take their brand to another level, while ensuring that their coaches are able to develop young talent for the future. The club wants to develop players who will one day go on to play in Europe. The club also wants to see its products playing on the biggest stages of African football.

Zanaco are one of Zambia’s most successful clubs, having won seven league titles over the years.

We are very delighted to have signed the sports development partnership agreement with LaLiga. The signing of the agreement resonates well with our strategic focus of identifying and developing young talent into professional footballers for the benefit of Zambian football in particular and African football in general. LaLiga has the football expertise and knowledge that will be of great value to Zanaco Football Club in its quest to produce professional football players for the world market and improve technical skills of our coaches. Zanaco Football Club looks forward to the implementation of the agreement,” said Zanaco Football Club Board Chairperson, David Musunga.
